Here is a picture of the from of our new home! It is like a duplex but one entry. We live on the left side. We drive around back and our garage is underneath. This enters into the main floor with sitting room, dining room, kitchen and half bath. The upstairs is 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. The laundry is upstairs too.

The furniture so far!

This is the main sitting room. Look at the beautiful green view out the front window!
Kitchen
This is the kitchen, there is an area for a table and large pantry behind me.

Looking out from the fireplace through the dining room.

This is looking to the rear of the house thought the dining room. We have a little patio area off the dining room and kitchen.

This is the view of our back yard from the patio. This is our driveway, where I saw the possum.

FIRST VISIT TO ATLANTA!

Well, I came to see Atlanta this week - first time here! I had a pretty good idea of what the city and our townhouse looked like from the Internet. What I didn't realize was the hills - you can't see those on google earth and the traffic flow. I had heard traffic was bad and it isn't that much worse than Phoenix, but the flow is different. Phoenix is so spoiled by wide straight roads! It's manageable just different.

Our townhouse is okay, it's a rental so not much updated. The landlady has done a lot of work in the past few weeks, carpet, paint, tile, so that is good and it has a lot of storage space. The outside is not real well maintained unlike other beautiful homes in our neighborhood - which is every nice. And we are closer to the freeway than most so there is a lot of traffic noise. Overall I'm looking forward to getting the stuff moved in and making a home of it.

I have pictures I'll post when I get back to my computer. I'm hoping to be able to take some of our moving, farewell party and traveling down here too.

I got a job starting June 14th at a USPI facility. It seems a lot like PSCOT in size and environment. I know there will be adjustments especially when the charge nurse told me the pre-op nurses don't really use the lunch room cuz they don't get breaks! How can I get by without strapping on the old feed bag - Becky!
.
Today is my first rainy day, it will be interesting to see how many more I have and also to see some changes in the seasons!
